Eric J. Gerritsen is Principal of Global Seed Capital LLC, a Boston-based seed venture financing company with investment interests in the United States, Canada, and Asia covering media, Internet, infrastructure software, and bio-IT companies.
Prior to starting Global Seed Capital, Mr. Gerritsen was Senior Vice President of Global Alliances for Terra Lycos S.A. and Vice President - International Business Development for Lycos Inc. of Waltham, MA. Lycos was sold to Terra Networks S.A. of Spain in October, 2000. Under his leadership Terra Lycos became the largest international Internet media network in the world.
